Jim Stjerne Hansen, tidligere professionel spiller i Brøndby IF var Generelsekretær for DBU fra 1988 til 2013. Han har haft forskellige poster i UEFA og FIFA. Jim Stjerne Hansen var af FIFA udpeget som “General Coordinator” i forbindelse med VM 2014 i Brasilien, og han er næstformand i  UEFAs disciplinærkomité, benævnt “UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body”.
