When you think of Stuttgart, most people think of Mercedes and Porsche. Two icons of the automotive world, real top brands that many car enthusiasts dream of. But Stuttgart is also home to football, for example VfB Stuttgart. The Bundesliga club plays in the grand Mercedes Benz-Arena - one of the stadiums of the Euro 2024. But at Whitsun the Stuttgart Trophy will take place in the green district of Vaihingen. The tournament will take place on a beautiful sports park with 5 pitches and extensive facilities. The organisers expect a wide range of participants from at least 5 countries. The international competition programme will be framed by a festive opening ceremony and a comprehensive prize-giving ceremony. It's going to be exciting in Vaihingen.

SV Vaihingen is an experienced tournament organizer and hosting international guests for many years. The beautiful sports complex in Vaihingen consist of five 11-a-side pitches; two of natural grass, three of artificial grass and a 7-a-side grasspitch. Furthermore the complex comprises of several dressing rooms, a clubhouse and (limited) private parking. For teams staying in the sportshall, the sports complex is at walking distance.

The Stuttgart Trophy is organised by SV Vaihingen. With around 2,500 members, Sportverein Vaihingen 1889 e.V. is one of the largest sports clubs in Stuttgart. Founded in 1889 as a gymnastics club, SVV now comprises 12 departments for several sports.

Although Stuttgart is a massive city with over 600,000 inhabitants, the city centre is easy to explore. You can take the tram or metro from Vaihingen and be in the centre in 15 minutes. The major attractions are more or less on a one kilometre line with the lively Schloßplatz on one side and the no less lively "Biergarten" in the city park on the other. In between are shopping streets, a market hall full of colourful shops and a centuries-old castle, and the lively Karlsplatz with resaturants, bars and flea market.

The Mercedes-Benz Arena is one of the most modern football stadiums in Europe. Not only football fans and VfB Stuttgart supporters get their money's worth on the fan tour. The home ground of the "boys from Cannstatt" offers an impressive backdrop even without a Bundesliga match and is a place full of history. Here you will experience all facets of the arena on the stadium tour and enter exclusive areas. After the last homegame on the 18th of May the stadium is in 2024 not available for tours anymore due to the organization of the European Championship in June.
