The secret of Bensheim
At this international youth football tournament in Bensheim you will find that time is at a premium. This attractive town in the foothills of the Odenwald just above Heidelberg serves up a richly filled programme featuring a parade, music, a show and a disco. And, of course, there will be plenty of football played on the pitches. The location is ideal too. The tournament is being held in a new complex with modern facilities and the participants are being accommodated close to the sports pitches. And if we tell you that the charming centre and the surrounding vineyards attract numerous visitors each year, you will know that this international youth football tournament in Bensheim is a good place to be for the Ascension Day weekend.

A szervezőről
The organiser of Basinus Trophy is FSG Bensheim in partnership with their neighbouring clubs TSV Auerbach and FC Bensheim. Also the close cooperation with the local football association, Kreis Bergstrasse, provides a strong basis for this popular tournament. FSG Bensheim was formed on 22 July 1950: eleven men decided it was time to start-up a new football club. The club took its current shape after a merger with F.S.C. Blau-Weiss Bensheim in 1981. FSG Bensheim currently consists of about 500 members.
