Egyedülálló sportpark a Costa Brava-n
A világ egyetlen másik helye sem vonz évente annyi külföldi csapatot, mint a Barcelona északi részén húzódó part, a Costa Brava, mely olyan népszerű üdülőhelyekkel büszkélkedhet, mint Lloret de Mar, Santa Susanna és Malgrat de Mar. Az izgalmas nemzetközi verseny és a rengeteg turisztikai látványosság évente mintegy 1000 csapatot vont egész Európából és az Egyesült Államokból. A versenyek a Katalán futballszövetség védnöksége alatt és azzal együttműködésben zajlanak. Nem csak a helyszín lenyűgöző, a sportlétesítmények is egyedülállóak: egy sportpark 15 gyönyörű füves pályával - Spanyolországban egyedülálló.

A szervezőről
A Trofeo Mediterraneo bajnokságot a Futbol de Tordera szervezi. A klub 1914-ben alapult, jelenleg pedig kb. 500 taggal rendelkezik, melynek köszönhetően nagy klubnak számít Katalóniában. 12 junior és 2 szenior csapattal rendelkezik. A klub elsőszámú csapata a katalóniai területi bajnokságban játszik.
