Se cercate di combinare un torneo internazionale di calcio giovanile e le attrazioni della costa belga, troverete in Middelkerke ed Ostenda le perfette destinazioni. La Sirene Cup, infatti, si svolge proprio qui ogni anno e, grazie alla sua ampia partecipazione internazionale ed il centro sportivo con 10 campi da gioco è molto conosciuta fra i giocatori. Come abbiamo detto, oltre alla gara, ci sono numerose altre attività dentro e fuori gli impianti sportivi e le due città hanno veramente molto da offrire. Con i chilometri di passeggiata ed i vivaci centri storici, entrambe sono delle località balneari adatte alla famiglia, con molte opportunità per una vacanza divertente e rilassata. K.G.S. Middelkerke-Leffinge La K.G.S. ( Royal Gold Star) Middelkerke-Leffinge fu fondata l'11 ottobre 1923 ed è pertanto una delle società sportive più antiche del Belgio. Nel 1973 alla società è stato concesso di aggiungere il titolo di 'Reale' al suo nome. Il club dedica molta attenzione all’educazione e l’allenamento dei giovani calciatori. KV Oostende è l'altra società che contribuisce all'organizzazione della Sirene Cup. Questa è stata fondata nel 1981.

Oostende (70,000 inhabitants) offers everything you would expect from a seaside town: an expanse of sea, a beautiful beach and a boulevard jam-packed with restaurants, cafés and hotels. In addition, the area behind the boulevard is riddled with shopping streets. In short: Oostende is a seaside town with an urban flair. De Schorre sports park is a couple of kilometres away from the centre and the boulevard.

Is it too cold outside, or are you not keen on the salty seawater? Then head to the Oostende municipal swimming pool to cool off.
Fort Napoleon:
At the end of the 18th century, France annexed Belgium. Napoleon feared an English attack on the port of Oostende, so in 1811 he had an imposing fort built in the dunes: Fort Napoleon. It is now a museum, bistro and restaurant - it's really worth a visit.
