Packed grandstands and a fantastic ambience
This international youth football tournament in Hamont has built up strong reputation over more than 20 years. Again and again, every year there are enthusiastic participants from all points of the compass. And that has everything to do with the attractive accommodation, perfect organization, the hospitality and cosy atmosphere. A group of motivated volunteers ensures a sophisticated program and during the finals on Sunday, participants can count on packed grandstands! Once again this year, the organizers will make every effort to ensure the participating teams at this international youth football tournament have an unforgettable time.

Organizator
The organiser of this international youth football tournament is KFC Hamont'99. The club was founded in 1999 as a merger of SK Hamont and KVV Hamontlo. KVV Hamotlo had organised the Euro Cup by itself for 10 years and then found a reliable partner to continue this successful tournament. Already for many years the 18 youth teams of KFC Hamont '99 and the many volunteers have eagerly shown what such a football marriage can lead to. Together with the cooperation of the city of Hamont they will do their utmost to make the 24th edition of the Euro-Cup even better than all years before.

Hamont-Achel
Hamont-Achel (14,000 inhabitants) is located in wooded surroundings right on the border with the Netherlands. Harmont-Achel has a cosy town square next to the church and a castle. The municipality is well known for the Saint Benedictus-Abbey where Achel trappist beer is brewed. The pride of Hamont-Achel, however, is Marc Emmers. Capped for Belgium 37 times, the footballer kicked off his career at KFC Hamont 99. The sports complex is at walking distance of the centre.
Lommel
Lommel is a town with some 29,000 residents in the Belgian part of Limburg, just below the Dutch border. Surrounded by dunes and forests of pine trees, Lommel is a real paradise for nature lovers. In the centre around the market square and beautiful town hall you'll find both old and new architecture. The town has plenty to offer in the way of shops, restaurants and cafe bars. From April to October, the famous Teutenmarkt (flea/antique market) takes place.
