But do not forget that you probably come first and foremost for the international competition on the greenery. Balaton Trófea takes place on the shores of Lake Balaton in and around the modern Révész Géza utcai Stadium - home to the professional football club BFC Siófok. The organizers and the city of Siófok expect approx. 10 nationalities just like last year. It cannot be more international, modern and bubbly. Get off to Siófok!

The games will be played in Siófoki Varosi Stadium and it’s training area. Siófoki Bányász owns 3 natural grass pitches and 1 artificial grass pitch. A great family atmosphere is key component in Siófoki’s bid. During its annual beach football tournament hundreds of family members, neighbours, friends and fans support their players. For sure they will repeat their chanting and cheering during the next edition of the Balaton Trofea. Next to the venues in Siófok the venue of Balatonlelle will be used. This complex lies at 30 minutes drive from Siófok.

The Balaton Trófea is held in and around Siófok, the tourist capital of Lake Balaton. With at least 6 matches over 4 days, you have to work hard to win the Balaton Trófea. But once you're here, it's good to know that there's loads to do in Siófok itself. Thanks to the pleasant temperatures, both in and out of the water, the long beaches along the banks of the lake are a wonderful place to relax. In addition, Siófok offers every kind of entertainment you would expect of a popular resort, plus various music festivals and sports events – including the Balaton Trófea. No wonder the region attracts a million visitors every year.
Beaches
Siófok is situated on Lake Balaton, the largest lake in central Europe, measuring a couple of hundred kilometres in circumference. The shores of the lake boast numerous vibrant sandy beaches and spectacular fields - perfect for playing sports. Most of the lake is fairly shallow, meaning it doesn't take long for the water to get nice and warm, so it's absolutely ideal for swimmers. Follow that up with a drink with your teammates at one of the many outdoor cafes - it can't get better than that.
Water sports
Fancy a little more than just lazing around on the beach? Lake Balaton offers almost every water sport you could possibly think of! You can rent a sailing boat in Siófok marina, or get your fix of waterskiing, wakeboarding and kite-surfing. Not only that, but you and your friends can also take a boat tour together.
Budapest
For visitors from overseas, a visit to this beautiful city on the Danube is an absolute must. On the motorway, the 100km are covered in no time at all, but a one-day trip is nothing more than a good introduction to Budapest.
