Meeting point for the youth of Europe
At Whitsun, the city of Dachau is the meeting point for youth football teams from all over Europe. With participants from Hungary to the Netherlands and from France to Poland, the Oberbayern Trophy is one of the most international tournaments in the Euro-Sportring programme. The Oberbayern Trophy takes place at two wonderful sports facilities, the ASV Dachau and SV Günding with 12 pitches in rural and urban surroundings in front of the city borders of Munich. The city of Dachau has a history of more than 1200 years and is thus considerably older than Munich. If you still want to visit Munich, you can get to the city centre in 20 minutes by public transport.

The sportscomplex of SV Günding and ASV Dachau consist of three to four 11-a-side pitches, a 9-a-side pitch and a small pitch for the youngest age categories. Next to this there is a sportshalll with dressing rooms, showers and a typical Bavarian restaurant "Gastätte" where you can buy drinks and food during the tournament.

Munich is perfect for shopping and good food. You’ll find shops, cafés and traditional Bavarian eateries on and around the central Marienplatz square. Would you like to supplement your vitamins after the games? If so, pay a visit to Munich's famous daily market, the Viktualienmarkt, near the Marienplatz. Here you can enjoy a wide range of cheap delicacies, like sausages, sandwiches and many other traditional Bavarian treats. Then go and enjoy it in the Biergarten. You’re welcome to bring your own food, as long as you buy your drinks in the Biergarten. So, it’s also a fine, budget-proof solution!
Allianz Arena
The Allianz Arena is the FC Bayern Munich stadium. The white exterior is illuminated in a wide spectrum of colours, so you can spot the stadium from a great distance. Always wanted to see the inside?
