Where old friends meet again
Simple but oh-so cosy. The Alsace Cup is really a tournament where 'old friends' meet each other every year - that's what it feels like, at least. You go to a spot on the edge of the Vosges, close to the glorious Saverne, where the organiser is first-and-foremost a host who loves to take care of foreign teams. Every year, three clubs work hand-in-hand during the Alsace Cup to give their international guests a fantastic weekend. This formula has been working for more than 25 years!

The Alsace Cup will take place in the villages of Dettwiller, Imbsheim and Lupstein. Each location has a community sports park with 1-2 grass pitches, changing rooms with showers and a canteen where you can get something to eat and drink. The distance between the venues is approximately 10 kilometres.

The Alsace Cup tournament is organised by US Imbsheim, SC Dettwiller and AS Lupstein. As the hosts at their own sporting venues, they will ensure that the visiting teams have everything they need.

Dettwiller & Imbsheim
Taking part in the Alsace Cup is a great introduction to the way of life of Northern Alsace. The villages of Imbsheim and Dettwiller lie close to the provincial town of Saverne (12,000 inhabitants), which is really worth a visit for its imposing buildings and intimate architecture. Strasbourg is approximately 40 km away and is easily reached via the A4 motorway.
Strasbourg
Strasbourg is 40 kilometres from the match locations. The city is the heart of the Alsace and the capital of Europe. The centre of the city boasts glorious old buildings, beautiful little alleyways and many other attractions. The most famous monument is the impressive cathedral. You'll also find La Petite France here: the most well preserved part of the city. You'll be amazed at the old timber frame buildings, which are more than 300 years old. There are often shops and restaurants tucked away in these buildings.

This huge swimming pools provides plenty of indoor and outdoor fun, as well as the chance to enjoy the spa and Turkish baths (please observe the rules for bathing clothes).
